Cocktail Recipes for a Girly Night In

May 6, 2017

Having girls over for cocktails makes for a perfect night in! It’s also more cost-effective to make your own cocktails instead of going to an expensive bar. To help you host the best girly night in, here’re some easy cocktail recipes for you!

Cosmopolitan Cocktail

To make a Cosmopolitan cocktail, you will need:

– 0.5 ounces of lime juice

– 0.5 ounces of Cointreau

– 1.5 ounces of raspberry juice

– 1.5 ounces of vodka citron

To make the cocktail, fill a shaker with some crushed ice, pour in all of the ingredients and shake thoroughly before pouring into a cocktail glass. For a refreshing garnish, add a slice of lime (not a wedge) to the drink.

Martini Recipe

To make a Martini, you will need:

– 0.5 ounces of Dry Vermouth

– 3 ounces of gin

– A lemon slice

To make this cocktail, pour both the Dry Vermouth and the gin into a mixing glass (with ice in if preferred) and stir together until properly mixed. Then pour into a cocktail glass and squeeze a few drops of lemon in.

Daiquiri Recipe

To make a Daiquiri, you will need:

– 1 ounce of lime juice

– 1.5 ounces of white rum

– 0.5 ounces of syrup

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes and pour all of the ingredients into the shaker. Shake for several minutes until everything is mixed up thoroughly. When finished, strain into a cocktail glass.

Pina Colada

To make a Pina Colada, you will need:

– 1 ounce of Coconut Cream

– 3 ounces of pineapple juice

– 1 ounce of white or spiced rum (white rum is traditionally used, but it’s up to personal preference)

To make the cocktail, mix all of the ingredients together before adding some crushed ice. Keep mixing until the mixture is smooth. Pour the drink into a cocktail glass and add a Maraschino cherry (and if you’re feeling fancy, a bit of pineapple as well) to give it that finishing touch.

Champagne Cocktail

To make a Champagne Cocktail, you will need:

– 0.4 ounces of cognac

– 3 ounces of champagne

– 2 dashes of Angostura bitter

– 1 sugar cube

Drop the sugar cube into a champagne flute before adding one dash of Angostura bitter. Following this, pour in the cognac and then slowly pour in the champagne after this. Allow to fizz a little before adding a Maraschino cherry to finish the cocktail off.

Mojito

To make a Mojito, you will need:

– 2 teaspoons of sugar

– 6 mint leaves

– 1 ounce of lime juice

– 1 ounce of soda water

– 1.5 ounces of white rum
Drop the mint leaves into the bottom of your glass and add the lime juice and the two teaspoons of sugar. Add the rum into the glass and top this off with the soda water. Serve with an additional sprig of mint leaves as a classic garnish. This is one of the only cocktails that can be served with a straw if desired.
